Hey Hey, there,
No one enjoys hardships, but they are a part of life.
In 2 Corinthians 12:10, Paul writes, "That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
Paul’s perspective encourages us to view insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles not as defeat, but as opportunities for Christ to demonstrate His strength in us. When we acknowledge our limitations and rely on God, we experience a divine strength that surpasses our capabilities.
Journal Prompt: How can you change your perspective and see your weaknesses as opportunities for God to show His strength?
In Christ,
Dr. Vonie
