Psalm 78:72

He cared for them with a true heart
    and led them with skillful hands.

This verse talks about David's ability to shepherd. He did this with a pure heart and skillful hands.

So, what does a true heart mean a as leader? It means protecting your people and being faithful, kind, and upright.

Now, what does leading with skillful hands mean? It means being understanding, knowledgeable, and using discernment.

We must lead with a correct heart so that our hands and actions follow.
