1 Corinthians 13:5 (NKJV)

thinks no evil

Evilness and godliness cannot exist in the same space. Love is not evil. As leaders for Christ, we are called to have the mind of Christ. There is nothing evil about Christ. Christ was thoughtful, kind, patient, purposeful, and more throughout His ministry.

So, what does this look like for us? It looks like compassion, giving the people we serve the benefit of the doubt, thinking positively, and seeing the best in people.

Journal Prompt: Write a prayer asking God to help you demonstrate His character as you lead for Christ, focusing on compassion, positivity, and patience. Ask Him to give you the mind of Christ in every interaction.
